World Business Council for Sustainable Development
The WBCSD is a global association of more than 200 multinational companies dealing with business and sustainable development issues. Members are drawn from 20 industrial sectors in 35 countries. We have undertaken a variety of work for the WBCSD and since 2006 have supported its Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EEB) project.
EEB involves 14 multinational companies from the building and energy sectors in Europe, North America and Japan. It has identified the conditions and attitudes needed to conserve the 40% of the world’s energy that is used in commercial and residential buildings. Context has contributed to the project’s thinking and has written communications ranging from short brochures to the final report, published in April 2009.
