In a week that has seen extensive debate on the use of trees as
carbon sinks (new research says they won't do much good, and could
be harmful), the London Sunday Times publishes a letter from a
reader who broaches the innovative idea of planting trees to suck
up carbon. There's plenty of excuses for a reader to be ignorant
of the debate, but no excuse for the UK's leading Sunday paper."
