Alex Parkinson Consultant, Context America Inc
Alex works in New York, having spent two years in our London office. He is a former financial journalist with a keen interest in business, development and sustainability. He joined Context in May 2008 from Business XL and Information Age.
As a journalist, Alex regularly reported on corporate social responsibility in the accounting industry, and among start-ups and growing companies. He gained experience in editing and design while working as a production editor on business and investment titles. He has put those skills to use at Context, working on projects for Cisco Systems, The Estée Lauder Companies, HP, Roche, Sky, Standard Chartered, Syngenta, and Vodafone. He also coordinates Context's stakeholder engagement sessions, and maintains the Context website.
Alex has a degree in Economics and International Development from the University of Bath.
