Polly Ghazi Affiliate (Washington DC) Polly Ghazi is a sustainability writer and editor and the former Environment Correspondent of The Observer. She produces publications for US and UK think tanks, large NGOs and companies, including the World Resources Institute, UK Sustainable Development Commission and Prince of Wales' Business & Environment Programme. Past corporate clients include BT and Biffa Waste Services. Polly has published three books, including the bestselling Downshifting: A Guide to Happier, Simpler Living and The Low Carbon Diet (May 2007) which was extracted in The Times. She contributes to The Guardian’s environment pages and writes a US column for Green Futures magazine. Polly lives in Washington DC with her husband, environmentalist Allan Thornton and two daughters. They strive to live a low carbon lifestyle but haven't yet managed to do without a car. |
